Old timer's game setBY AUTUMN PENNINGTONPublished Wednesday, March 6, 2002 in the Gurdon Times Gurdon's football program will be sponsoring the second Annual Old Timer Football game on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Go-Devil stadium. Sign up for the team begins on March 5-12. Each individual must have been out of school for five years or longer and is required to sign a release form in order to play. Practices for the game will be on March 13-15. Participants will be fitted for equipment on March 13 at 6 p.m. during game practice. Other practice times will be announced at a later date. Tickets will be sold at the gate with adult tickets being $3 and children $2. Videotapes of the game will be available for a price of $7 apiece. To sign-up for the team you can call the Gurdon field house at (870) 353-4031 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m Monday through Friday or call Coach John Pace at home at (870) 353-2925.
