William Fain

William D. Fain, 75, died Saturday, February 3, 2002, at the veterans hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was born October 7, 1927 in Stamps.

Fain was a disabled WWII Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Elvira of Stamps; one son and daughter-in-law, W. Darrell and Susan Fain of Prescott; one brother, Dale Fain of Stamps; three grandsons, Darren Fain of Little Rock, David Fain of Little Rock and Eddie Fain of Hallandale, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 25, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh Cemetery in Stamps, with Rev. John Force officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
