Hellen HerringPublished Wednesday, February 20, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneHelen F. Herring, 80 of Willisville, died Friday, February 15, 2002 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Mrs. Herring was born April 15, 1921 in Rosston to the late Francis an Artie Dell (Mattison) Martin. She was a machine operator for Peace Flooring Mill and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Martin. Survivors include her husband, Lynn Herring of Willisville; son, Rodney Herring and Ruth of Stephens; daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon Almand and Clifton of Waldo and Lynelle Almand and Harry of Nashville; brother, Jimmy Donald Martin of Dallas, Texas; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 17, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Langston and Bro. David Watkins officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Pallbearers were her grandsons and grandsons-in-laws, Brad Herring, Darren Almand, Damon Almand, Joshua Herring, Eddie Mayberry, Keith Nale, Rodney Langston and Todd Wilson.
