Sidney Boots' Wiley, 72, of Douglasville, Texas, died Thursday, February 13, 2002, in Atlanta, Texas.

Wiley was born on July 5, 1929, in Douglasville, Texas. He spent his life working as a carpenter.

Survivors include four sons, James Wiley of Douglasville, Texas, John Wiley and Mike Wiley, both of Kissimmee, Fla., and step-son, Tony Martin of Glenwood, Texas; six daughters, Deanna Baird and Lisa Harper, both of Gurdon and Kristi Jones of Plain Dealing, La., step-daughters, Madeline Rousseau of Plain Dealing, La., and Teresa Griffin and Kim Ingrum, both of Gurdon; five brothers, Waylon Wiley of Atlanta, Texas, Joe Wiley of Douglasville, Texas, James Wiley of Marietta, Texas, Bill Wiley of Texarkana, and Donald Wiley of Taylor; four sisters, Mary Burleson, Linda Powell Wiley, and Deana Pate, all of Douglasville, Texas, and Barbara Turner of Atlanta, Texas; 11 grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 15, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Cass County, Texas. Arrangements were made by Hanner Funeral Services.
