Ruth Helen Heath of Denver, Colo., 62, died January 27, in Denver.

She was the daughter of B.J. and Minnie Rucks. She attended Stamps Ellis High School and Hope Vocational School for nursing.

She was employed at Diamond Shamrock and was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Otis Rucks, one daughter, Robbie Hempstead, and a grandson, Strodney Witcher.

She's survived by: eight children, Patsy Witcher and husband, Charles of Waldo, Patricia Prigett and husband, Eugene of Parris, Calif., Charles Brown of Dallas, Texas, Terry Robertson and wife, Sonya of Hope, Wesley Hempstead and wife, Marion of Gurdon, Billy Grissom and wife, Terri, Darren Sparks and wife, Candy, Earnest Heath, all of Denver; three brothers, Charles, Harry, and Robert Rucks all of Baltimore, Md., eight sister, Ruby Prevore, Delvis Adams, both of Waldo, Janice Johnson of Gurdon, Sandra Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., Hazel Haze of Toledo, Ohio, Earnestene Easter of Compton, Calif.; nineteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral was held Saturday, February 2, at 2 p.m. at the Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Officiating was Rev. John H. Witcher.

Visitation was Friday at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pallbearers were Grey Gilbert, Devin Dunn, Charles and Jamarkey Witcher, Eugene Prigett, Jr., Pierre Robertson, Terry Cornish, Michael.

Honorary pallbearers were Charles Brown, Wesley Hempstead, Terry Robertson, Darren Sparks, Earnest Heath, and Billy Grissom.

Flower bearers were Roberta Rucks, Charles Withcer, and Eugene Prigett, Sr.
