Helen IngersollPublished Wednesday, February 6, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneHelen Christine Ingersoll, 77, of Prescott, died Saturday, January 26, 2002. Ingersoll was born March 31, 1925, in Prescott to Aaron Allen and Alta Sue McVay Ingersoll. She was a homemaker. Cherishing her memory are, her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bill Griffin of Prescott; her four grandchildren, Jim Griffin of Burleson Texas, Joseph Griffin of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jennifer Weinkam of Frisco, Texas and Julie Capone of Charleston, S.C.; her six great-grandchildren, Shaley Griffin, Grace and Atticua Griffin, Griffin and Mitchell Weinkam, and Aaron Capone. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. A.A. (Rip) Ingersoll, her mother, Alta Sue McVay and her brother, Mr. A.A. (Buddy) Ingersoll. Graveside services were Wednesday, January 30, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton with Jim Lenderman officiating. Services entrusted to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
