Dorothy Crowe Wilson, 71, of Detroit, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died January 10, 2002, in Harlingen, Texas.

She was born March 5, 1930, to Glenn and Helen Prosser in Victor, New York.

Mrs. Crow-Wilson is survived by her husband, Walter G. Wilson of Detroit, Texas; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Herle and Krissie Crowe of Tucson, Arizona, Thomas and Deborah Crowe of Detroit, Texas, and Phillip and Lisa Crowe of Saratoga; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tonya Crowe of Little Rock and Helen and Donny Hunt of Prescott; a step-son and wife, Gary and Kelly Limpel of Pellake, Wisconsin; two sisters, Lois Hill of Winter Haven Florida and Elsie Lord of Golden Colorado; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Carvolin Crowe, two brothers, Ellis and Leroy Proser.

Graveside services were Monday, January 14, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Dalark.

The family received friends at the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott on Sunday, January 13, 2002, from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation or the Valley Baptist Medical Center Foundation of Harlingen.

Services were entrusted to the Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
