Annie WoodPublished Wednesday, January 16, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneAnnie Lucy Wood, 95, of Genoa, died Friday, January 11, 2002, at The Arkansas Nursing and Rehab in Texarkana, Ark. She was born September 2, 1906, in Nevada County. Wood was a homemaker and a member of the Bluff City Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Eldera Richadson of Texarkana, Ark.; two sons, John Walter Alford of Baton Rouge, La., and Clyde Collier Alford of Mobile, Al., seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2002, at The Central Church of Christ Cemetery with the Rev. Anus Hensley officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
