Homer LavenderPublished Wednesday, January 16, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneHomer Ray Lavender, 81, of Prescott, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at the Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Lavender was born December 30, 1920, to Ed and Maude Pearl Lavender. Survivors include: his two daughters, Cindy Brassington of Oceanside, Ca. and Marci Rollins, Kaneohe, Ha.; three grandchildren, Ryan and Jeffrey Brassington and Stephanie Disbrowe. Graveside services were Saturday, January 12, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Union Grove Cemetery near Blevins with Bro. Ricky Burke officiating. Visitation will be Friday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Shackelford Funeral Home. Services entrusted to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
