Art and Mary's expanding

Art & Mary's Cafi has been located in Gurdon for almost a year now.

During this time the cafi has become a regular dinner hang out for several Gurdon citizens as well as one of the best restaurants in town.

Art & Mary's Cafi can direct a lot of its success to the variety of different items they offer on their menus and the down home friendly atmosphere.

Several Gurdon businessmen have become the restaurants regulars. These men would come in daily for lunch and were always pleased with the service and selection they were offered at the cafi.

However, being businessmen, they had some ideas of their own. They would share their ideas with Art, the cafi's co-owner. Art would take their suggestions to heart and eventually all of the men found themselves in a new business venture.

Art Miranda, Fred Peppercorn, Birkes Williams, David Miller, Mike McKenzie and Mike Kelly joined together to form the Restaurant Management Group. These six men have combined ideas and made a partnership with plans of expanding Art's already formed restaurant business.

Art & Mary's Mexican Cafi and Steak House will soon open its doors in Caddo Valley, where the old Shoney's used to be.

Art said, "The menu will be the same as our Gurdon restaurant except we will offer more chicken and steak. We also plan to have a breakfast and lunch buffet."

Fred Peppercorn said, "We are going to use only the good stuff. None of our food will be prepared with imitation products. We also plan to have the best service around. Not only will you get quality from our restaurant we also give good quantity with our meals."

Art would like to ease everyone's minds by saying, "We will keep the Gurdon cafi open. We are happy with the way Gurdon has treated us since we have been here."

Art will also continue to cater weddings, reunions, receptions, etc.
