J.B. Franks

J.B. Franks, 70, of Delight, died Tuesday, January 1, 2002, at a Little Rock hospital.

Franks was born June 19, 1931, at Roseboro, the son of the late William and Mae Dell Lamb Franks.

He attended the First Baptist Church in Delight. He was retired from Reynolds Metal Company.

Franks is survived by his wife, Dixie V. Franks of Delight; sons, Kenneth Williams of Foreman, and Rick Williams of Nashville; a daughter, Linda Johnson of Sherwood; sisters, Aileen Eastwood of Dundee, Illinois, Gearldean Harris of Prescott, and Annette Bateman of Hope; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a number of nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.

Services were scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Delight, with Bro. Luther Lott officiating, burial in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

The family received friends at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, Thursday, January 3, from 6-9 p.m.
