Ross McDanielPublished Wednesday, January 9, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesRenard Ross McDaniel, 71, of Gurdon, died Wednesday, December 26, 2001. McDaniel was a retired millwright for International Paper Co. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Nell McDaniel of Gurdon; two sons, David Ross and Kathy McDaniel, and Danny Joe and Debbie McDaniel, all of Gurdon; one daughter, Debra Gail Haynie of Curtis; one sister, Ida Cook of Caddo Valley; five grandchildren, Joe, Jimmy Grandstaff, Shawn David McDaniel, Jennifer Robbins, and Haleigh Joe McDaniel. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tisha Grandstaff. Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, at Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Williams officiating.
