Ottis WhitePublished Wednesday, January 2, 2002 in the Nevada County PicayuneOttis T. White, 76, died Thursday, December 20, 2001, at his home in Onalaska, Texas. White was born July 2, 1925, in Prescott, to William and Nellie Barger White. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas. He served in the army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his father, William Fred White, his mother Nellie Belle Barger White and his wife of 41 years, Denver Elizabeth White. Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Sherrill White of Spring, Texas; his daughter, Phyllis Lively of Spring, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law, James Daniel and Carolyn White of Bellaire, Texas, his five grandchildren: Amber and Brad Kingsley of The Woodlands, Texas, Jennifer Lively of Spring, Texas, Carrie and T.C. McGray of Spring, Texas, Karen Lively and Melissa Lively of Spring, Texas; five great-grandchildren: Kaylan, Kendyl, and Kimmie Kingsley of The Woodlands, Texas, Abbie and Cole McGray of Spring, Texas. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 22, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Don Wilkey officiating under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home.
