Ann GreenPublished Wednesday, January 2, 2002 in the Gurdon TimesAnn Green, 94, of Warren, died Sunday, December 23, 2001, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home in Warren. Green was born June 25, 1907, in Clark County, a daughter of the late Claude Ivan and Bertha Mae Wingfield Milloway. She was retired owner-operator of Adams and Green Grocery in Warren, member of the First Baptist Church of Warren and the widow of Oscar E. Green who died February 7, 1982. They were united in marriage June 26, 1926, in Texarkana. Survivors are two sisters, Vesta Spiro of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Lois Blount of Gainsville, Fla. Graveside services were held Wednesday, December 26, in Rose Hedge Cemetery at Gurdon by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Memorials preferred First Baptist Church of Warren. Active pallbearers were E.M. Reynolds, Jr., Curtis Blankinship, Jr., Bill Binns, Gary Cooper, Roger George and Ricky Roper. Honorary pallbearer was Max Givens.
