Lawrence WhitePublished Wednesday, December 19, 2001 in the Gurdon TimesLawrence White, Sr., 73, of Gurdon, died Monday, December 10, 2001. White retired from Brown and Root Inc., as a Divisional Administrative Manager and later retired from General Dynamics as a Purchasing Expeditor. White was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church of Gurdon, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Joy White of Gurdon; one son, Larry White and wife, Annette, of Gurdon; one brother, David White of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Kelly White and wife, Jeanie, and Tracy White Dodson and husband, Allen of Benton; and three great-grandchildren, Callie White, Tucker Dodson, and Jordan Dodson. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Dec. 13, at Beech Street Baptist Church. Interment was in Ridge Cemetery with arrangements by Horne Funeral Home.
