L.E. Tucker

L.E. Tucker, 77, of Caney, died Tuesday, November 27, 2001, at his home.

He was born on March 30, 1924, in Nevada County to Sylvester and Lemma Lillie Grimes Tucker.

He was a retired electronic technician of 32 years with General Dynamics.

He was a Baptist and a Navy Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: His wife, Florence McCants Tucker of Caney, one son, Ronnie G. Tucker of Caney, one daughter, Charlotte A. Tinsley of Caney, five grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Coy Tucker, Karena Tinsely Cooper and Jay Tinsley, and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2001, at Caney Cemetery, with Rev. Raymond Hicks and Rev. Jim Cross officiating.

Burial followed with arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, November 28, 2001, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
