Neal HopsonPublished Wednesday, November 28, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneNeal C. Hopson, 95, of Hope died Sunday, November 18, 2001, at a Nashville Hospital. Hopson was born in Laneburg on September 30, 1906. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Survivors include children, Johnie Lee Hopson, Rosie Lee Jones, Nellie J. Jones, Josiephine McPherson, all of Hope; Maxine White, Shirley Benton, Hazel Thomas, Betty Harding all of Wichita, Kan., Carolyn Holland of Ft. Worth, Texas, 33 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 24, in Providence Baptist Church in Hope with Rev. Johnny L.
