Lula Butler

Lula M. Butler, 99, of Prescott died, Monday, November 19, 2001, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Butler was born May 4, 1902, in Nevada County near Bluff Springs to her parents Joseph E. and Mary S. Dillard.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Prescott.

Butler was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth Butler in 1942, her husband, Hody W. butler, Sr. in 1969, four sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include one son, Hody W. Butler, Jr. and his wife, Jacquelyn Ann Butler, three grandsons, Tada K. Butler, Kelly J. Kile and husband, Bruce, Wendi A. Halloway and husband Darin, four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Britton, Grace, and Tad, all of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving were some very special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel November 21 with bro. Jimmy Hull, Bro. Louie Wesson and Bro. Donnie Dillard officiating. Burial was at Deanne Cemetery under direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
