Billy Buck

Billy Earl Buck, 60, of Bodcaw, died Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.

He was born July 3, 1941, in Hot Springs, to Frank E. Buck and Vernita Carlton Buck.

He was a longtime employee with Allen White Co. of Stamps. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Buck.

His survivors includes his wife: (of 42 years) Sue Mauldin Buck of Bodcaw; his mother, Vernita Carlton Ho of Bodcaw, his other mother, Beatrice Pine of Wake Village, Texas, one brother, Vernon Buck of Kansas City, Kan., one sister, Mary Lynn Loe of Bodcaw, 12 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2001, at Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw, with Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery in Bodcaw. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Family received friends, Thursday, November 15, 2001, from 6-9 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
