Lizzie JohnsonPublished Wednesday, November 21, 2001 in the Gurdon TimesLizzie Liz' Johnson, 57, of Sacramento, Calif., native of Gurdon, died Saturday, October 20, 2001. Johnson was the loving wife of Eugene; and devoted mother of Pierre, Carla and Renee (Rev. Kelvin), and Gwendolyn; caring grandmother of Christian, Roman, Courtney, Sydney, Chelsea, and Krysten; cherished daughter of Mary Hunter and daughter in-law of Corine Johnson and sister of eight siblings. Visitations were held on Oct. 25, at Sacramento Garden Chapel with home-going celebration' on Friday, Oct. 26, at St. Paul Baptist Church. Interment was in Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
