Mrs. Dorothy Marie White Duncan, age 79, native of Prescott, born on September 25, 1922, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jewel White, passed away after an extended illness, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott, on Sunday, November 11, 2001.

She was a retired Henderson Hall Manager, a homemaker, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott.

She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law: Ned and Heidi Duncan of Prescott, Michael and Syndee Duncan of Normandy, Tenn.; one daughter and son-in-law: Charlotte Jane and Tony Chrestman of Shelbyville, Tenn.; one brother: Mr. And Mrs. Conrad White of Osceola; three grandaughters: Michelle and Jeff Bergman of Short Hills, N.J., Monika and Steve Westbrooks of Marietta, Ga., and Carrie and Rick Leal of Franklin, Tenn.; two grandsons: Spencer and Tony Duncan of Normandy, Tenn.; four great grandchildren: Ted Bergman, Elise Westbrooks, Mattie Jane Westbrooks, and Mary Elizabeth Leal. one niece: Juli White Hunt of White Hall and one nephew: Steve White of Heber Springs.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Rev. Jim Lenderman officiating.

Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
