Martin missed Norwood on his next pass attempt, with Prescott called for holding and losing 10 yards back to the Wolf 48.

Martin went to Ratcliff, who fought his way to the Panther 26.

He once again missed Norwood, and Prescott was hammered with a clipping penalty, costing the Wolves 15, back to the 42.

A screen to Butler fell incomplete, as did a pass to Norwood.

On fourth down, Martin hit Butler at the 16, and the Wolves were still in business.

The next two plays resulted in the loss of a yard, before Martin hit Ratcliff at the five.

Craven bulled through the Panther front line to give Prescott its only score of the night with 55 seconds remaining.

The two-point conversion was good, making the score 35-8.

Prescott attempted an on-side kick, only to have Ashdown's Randy Keener fall on the ball at the Panther 40.

The game ended two plays later, but not before the Wolves were called for their final penalty of the night grabbing the facemask, a 15-yard penalty.

Statistically the game was relatively even. The major exception being in rushing yardage, where Ashdown out gained Prescott 314-89.

Prescott held the edge in passing as Martin completed 13 of 34 attempts for 188 yards. He was intercepted three times, though.

Ashdown was three of eight in the air for 64 yards. Aylett suffered one interception.

The Wolves punted four times for 150 yards, giving up 41 yards in returns. Ashdown punted twice for 74 yards.

The two teams were penalized almost the same amount, both in penalties and yardage. Prescott was flagged nine times for 75 yards, while Ashdown was hit seven times for 74 yards.

Both teams fumbled the ball three times and lost it once.

The Wolves sacked Aylett twice, while Martin was caught by the Panther defense only once.

The Wolves also managed more first downs than Ashdown, 18-17.

Prescott snapped the ball 64 times in the game, while Ashdown ran 60 offensive plays.

Vanhook ran the ball 15 times for Prescott, gaining 51 yards.

Craven followed with 11 rushes for 41 yards.

Woodley carried once, losing a yards, while Norwood had one carry for two yards. Martin had a negative four rushing yards in the game.

The Wolves had 30 rushing plays, gaining 89 yards, and averaging just under three yards per carry.

Ashdown had 52 rushing plays and gained 314 yards. The Panthers averaged six yards per carry.

Prescott's season ended with the Wolves posting a 4-6 mark.

Ashdown went undefeated in the 7AAA conference and was 7-3 overall.
