Marks arrested for drugsBY AUTUMN PENNINGTONPublished Wednesday, November 7, 2001 in the Gurdon Times A Gurdon man was arrested after he sold a controlled substance to an undercover officer. After the man was identified as Oscar Marks of Gurdon, Gurdon Police officers, Clark County SWAT team members and the Group 6 Narcotics Enforcement Team obtained a search warrant for the residence, located at the corner of East Main and North 7th. Officers then found marijuana and a pill bottle with a white residue in it. The residue tested positive at the scene for cocaine. However, the bottle was sent to the state crime lab for further testing. Marks has been charged with possession of a controlled substance at this time. Other charges are pending.
