One arrested on drug charges by CCSO and drug task force

Clark County Sheriff's deputies and special agents from the Narcotics Enforcement Unit recently seized a methamphetamine lab.

On Wednesday, October 10, 2001, officers conducted a search of property located on Mosely Road near Arkadelphia. There, the officers found and recovered chemicals and equipment that were used to produce the methamphetamine. Also, retrieved was meth already produced.

Michelle Bledsoe, 31, was arrested at the residence and has been charged with a number of criminal offenses.

Bledsoe has been formally charged by prosecuting attorney Henry Morgan for Class Y felony of manufacturing a schedule II controlled substance, meaning meth. Also, Bledsoe was charged with a Class B Felony for the use of paraphernalia to manufacture meth. Bledsoe was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture in the presence of a minor. Both of these charges are Class C felonies punishable by imprisonment of not less than three years and no more than 10 years on each charge.

Bledsoe is to appear before Judge John Thomas for a formal arraignment on the described charges.
