William "Don" King, 38, of Conway, died suddenly in an accident Saturday in Hot Springs.

He was born August 25, 1963, in Prescott, the son of Billy and Vera King.

He was the Director of Pharmacy at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he was employed for 14 years.

King graduated from Prescott High School in 1981, and attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1985 and Masters of Business Administration in 1992.

He was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Beam King of Conway; three children, Megan, Kelsey, and Harrison all of Conway; his parents, Billy and Vera King of Prescott; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Loyde and Carole Beam of Hot Springs; his aunt, Margaret Porter and her husband, Richard, of Hope; his uncles Dale Almond and wife, Donita, of Prescott, Jim Hooker and wife, Winnie, of New Mexico; one brother-in-law and his wife, Barry and Deborah Beam of Bossier City, La; two nephews; two nieces, and four cousins.

Services will be held at The Church of Christ, 6th and Izard St. in Little Rock, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, along with services at The Church of Christ in Prescott at 2 p.m.

Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs following the services under the direction of Roller-Chenal, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, (224-8300). Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Troy Walls, Glen Smith, Tab Townsell, Garold Lessig, Jeff Darby, and Andy Almand. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jody Almand, Chip Culpepper, Rick Ward, Barry Beam, and the management and staff at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Don was a loving husband, dedicated father, and precious son. He will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.

Memorials for the children's education can be made directly to First Community Bank in Conway.
