Melba ClarkRuggles-Wilcox Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, August 8, 2001 in the Gurdon Times Melba J. Clark, 54, of Gurdon died Thursday, August 2, 2001, at the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. Clark was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Hartford, near Fort Smith, the daughter of the late H.B. and Grace Oxford Kinard. She was a press operator for 25 years at Poly Van in Conway and a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Greenbrier. She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy K. Clark, and one brother, Jim Kinard. Survivors include her husband, Tony C. Clark; two sons, Terry Clark of Gurdon, and Tim Clark of Fulton, Miss.; two brothers, Don Kinard of Sand Springs, Okla., and Ronnie Kinard of Arkadelphia; four sister, Shirley Ellis of Burleson, Texas, Marilyn Leonard and Brenda Williams, both of Gurdon, and Billie Jean Russey of Arkadelphia; and five grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Courtney, Jordan, and Elizabeth Clark. Funeral service were held Saturday, August 4, at the Third Street Baptist Church with Revs. Jason Everett and Gary Tuner officiating.
