We extend sympathy to the Bob Kelly family due to his tragic death last week. Funeral was Thursday afternoon at Mt. Moriah Church with burial there. Part of the Third Generation rendered the special singing and Bro. Jerry Westmoreland officiated.

This has been a busy week for Rosston people. We don't understand these things, but someday we will. We just know that God's grace is sufficient to carry us through our trials while on this earth. I don't know how people live without knowing the Lord. I need him every day, every step of the way.

Maxine Luck was taken to a Hope hospital with a stroke one day this week and then on to Wadley Hospital in Texarkana. Please remember her in your prayers along with all her family. Her daughters and most of their families have been with her and A.B. this week. Harold and Darla Wise of Little Rock have brought their camper to the hospital grounds so they will have a place to sleep.

Calvin and Ouida Luck of Utah and their daughter and husband came for the Luck reunion at the Hurrah Patch this weekend. I know it wasn't the same without A.B. and Maxine.

Roscoe and I visited at the hospital with the family on Tuesday afternoon and night and a while on Wednesday night. Grandson Marty Williams of Texarkana was our guest on Saturday morning and son Dwight and Marion visited on Saturday night after the fish supper.

Ellis and Winnie Bailey and daughter Kaye spent the weekend in Little Rock with Winnie's sister, Polly.

Jeff and Tara Carlton celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary yesterday in Texarkana. They ate at Chili's and visited the Lucks at the hospital.

Bro. Petie and Laura went to Wadley Hospital one night to be with the Lucks and again on Saturday.

We enjoyed a good fish supper from the Pack Rat Hunting Club on Saturday night. They sold plates to make some money and I think they did quiet well even though it wasn't advertised much.

Margaret Jackson and her family attended the beautiful wedding at First Baptist in Hope on Saturday night. Her granddaughter, Courtney Jackson, got married.

On Thursday night Roscoe and I attended the 50th wedding anniversary supper of Jack and Lee Hart of Dallas. It was given by her sister and brother-in-law, Carl and Oma Thornton, of Hope. Oma cooked for two days. She is a super cook and it was enjoyed by a host of family and friends.

I'm seldom sick, but by Friday I had to go in to the doctor due to an infection. Too many Cokes I'm sure.

Joe and Ellen Wallace had a family reunion of Ellen's mother's people on Saturday. They had a large crowd and plenty of food.

Millard Butcher of Stephens and Helen Martin's husband of Bodcaw were both buried this week.

Mrs. Maudie Miller of Bodcaw passed away Sunday after her sister had passed away on Saturday. Remember the family.

Pray that Rosston will have a better week than the past one.
