Forest Festival rapidly approachingBy Autumn PenningtonPublished Wednesday, August 1, 2001 in the Gurdon Times Preparations for the 21st annual Gurdon Forest Festival are in full swing as South Clark County gets ready for the big October event. The festival is one of the largest in the area, will be held on Saturday, October 27, on Main Street in downtown Gurdon. Entertainment for the bandstand is being planned. Tim LeMay is in charge of the entertainment this year. He can be located at (870) 353-6509. More than 90 arts and crafts booths have already been reserved for the event. The booths are $20 each.
