Sherry Young and Michael Charles Gayton's wedding was held at New Bethal AME Church Saturday, April 17, in Rosston. Rev. Leslie Banks officiated. It was a beautiful wedding.

Persie Joe's funeral was held Monday at New Salem Church with pastor Leslie Banks officiating. Burial was in New Salem AME Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.

Mrs. Minnie Lee Hicks Evans's funeral will be Thursday, April 22, at New Bethel AME Church at 11 a.m. with Smith Funeral Home in charge in Stamps.

Artis Gulley has been dismissed from the hospital. He has been a very sick man.

Sympathy goes out to the Kelly family. Bob rode the school bus to Prescott when George was the bus driver. Bob was a good boy. He never gave him any trouble.

Vela Bell was buried last week at Harrison Chapel Cemetery.

Haynie Jackson's wife has been a very sick person. Haynie has been in the hospital in Camden.

Edd Sanders has been on our sick list.

Mrs. Vera Purifoy went to Houston, Texas, last week to visit her sister's husband who has been on the sick list.

Our prayers go out to Rev. Lupo. He is such a nice person.

Our pastor Rev. Lessly Banks' brother was killed in an accident Monday. His funeral has not been set at this time of my writing. Our prayers go out to the Banks family.

In Stephens the McKinney's charted a bus to Dallas, Texas, to the funeral of Vera McKinney, formerly of Rosston. Ezra McKinney is the son of Ethel and Rosie Lee McKinney of Willisville, who preceded him in death.
