Lee Edward Dansby

Lee Edward Dansby, 55 of Rosston died Friday, July 13, 2001 at his home.

Mr. Dansby was born June 30, 1946 in Rosston to John Phillip and Gertrude Gulley Dansby. He was a logging mechanic and member of Cana AME Church of Rosston. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifton Dansby and Mary Ann of Bluff City, Leonard Dansby of Rosston, Curtis O. Dansby and Frankie of Waldo and Dennis Dansby and Yolanda of Fairfield, Calif., three sisters and brothers-in-law, Hazel Dansby Sherman of Rosston; Daisy Dansby Gulley and Mercal T. of Prescott and Ella Mae Dansby Settles and Leroy of Suitland, Maryland; two maternal uncles, Leslie Lee (Sammy) Gulley of Omaha, Nev., and Robert Lee Gulley of Chicago, Ill., and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 17, at the Cana AME Church in Rosston with Rev. Lessly Banks officiating. Burial was in the White Church Cemetery in Rosston under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
