Everett GreenShackelford Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, July 18, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Everett Burchie Green, 67, of Cale, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana. Green was born August 27, 1932, in Caney to Benjamin and Conella Rogers Green. He was a retired electrician and a lifelong resident of Nevada County. Cherishing his memory are: two daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Richard Martin of Cale, Linda and Rex Black of Moselle, Mississippi; one son and daughter-in-law: Alan and Joyce Bennett of Hope; one brother, Benny Green of Magnolia; one sister: Myrtie Bearden of Caney; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Green, his grandson, Lee Martin, his parents and two sisters. Services were Thursday, July 12, 2001, at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cale with Bro. Raymond Hicks officiating. Interment was at Morris Cemetery in Caney. Services have been entrusted to the Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott.
