Minnie BoltonShackelford Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, July 18, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Minnie Belle Bolton, age 79, of Prescott, was called to her eternal home Sunday, July 8, 2001, at the Hillcrest Care & Rehab Center in Prescott. Bolton was born March 23, 1922, in Okolona to Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Shope. She had been employed by Prescott Manufacturing prior to entering the nursing home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bolton, Jr. in 1980. Cherishing her memory are: one daughter and son-in-law: Tina and David McKinnon of Prescott; one sister: Lois Ursery of N. Little Rock; and two grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, July 12, 2001, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Joe Miller officiating. Interment followed in the DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home. Visitation was Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
