Willie Bernice GentlesHorne Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, July 11, 2001 in the Gurdon Times Willie Bernice Gentles, 86 of Gurdon died Wednesday, July 3, 2001. Gentles was a homemaker, a member of the Gurdon Assembly of God Church and the wife of Jimmie Lee Gentles. Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lee Gentles; one son, John and wife, Barbara, Gentles of Bakersfield, Calif.; four daughters, Lois and husband, Thurman, McClure of Gurdon, Norma Schee of Prescott, Thelma and husband, Herschel Floyd, of Gurdon and Viola DeLap and husband, Tony, of Fresno, Calif.; brother, Kermit Haskins and wife, Eunice, of Sheridan; two daughters-in-law, Donna Webb of Las Vegas and Mavis Gentles of Bakersfield, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren, and two nieces and three nephews. Gentles was preceded in death by sons, Dalton Webb and Jim Curtis Gentles. Funeral services were conducted, Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Center Ridge Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
