Mary Louise Gulley, 78, of Prescott, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott.

Gulley was born November 22, 1922, in Nevada County to A.C. Latin and Pearl Alexander.

She was a retired custodian from Prescott Elementary Schools in Prescott, and member of First United Pentecostal Church of Laneburg.

She was preceded in death by one son, Henry Lewis Brown, by seven brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Gulley of Prescott; four sons, Odell Brown of Rockford, Ill., Edward Latin and wife, Elizabeth, Independence, La., Zachariah Lessie of Prescott and Kevin Gulley of Little Rock; two step-daughters, Luretha Charles of Dallas, Texas, and Doris Tidwell and husband, Oscar of Prescott; two brothers, J.T. Latin and Gladys and Charlie Latin and wife, Rosetta both of Rockford, Ill., two sisters, Galvesta Lindsey of Emerson and Joyce Smith of Rockford, Ill., sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two special nieces, Peggy Gulley of Texarkana and Mattie Box of Prescott and a host of nieces and nephews and friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel with O'Neal Milligan officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in Rosston under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
