Frances Ellen McDade, 76, of Prescott died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott.

McDade was born February 26, 1925, in Boughton, to Homer and Mary Smith Elmore.

She was a housewife and retired as a Certified Nurse's Aid after working for 16 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Watson McDade of Prescott; three daughters, Louise Burkett, and Al, of Hope, Patricia Ann Monroe, and Charles, of Gustine, Texas and Sandra Jean Rader, and Ike, of Onalaska, Texas; two brothers, L.C. Elmore and Orland Elmore both of Lexington, Mo., three sisters, Gladys Wicker of Prescott, Eris Goodloe of Lexington, Mo., and Betty Sue Doddwell of Gurdon, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 21, at the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev J.R. Callicott officiating. Burial followed in the Sweet Home Cemetery in Hempstead County under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
