Joseph TyeHerndon Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, June 13, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Joseph C. Tye, 46, of Bodcaw, died June 9, 2001, at a Little Rock Hospital. He was an account executive for AT&T. He was born July 25, 1954, in Bodcaw. He was a member of Bodcaw #1 Missionary Baptist Church. He was the son of Harlin and Marie Carlton Tye. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: his mother, Marie Tye of Bodcaw; two brothers, Robert H. Tye, Jr., and Don Tye both of Hope; two sisters, Janette Spencer of El Dorado and Linda Haynie of Prescott. Services were Tuesday, June 12, 2001,at 2 p.m. in the Bodcaw #1 Missionary Baptist Church with interment in Bodcaw #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, at Herndon Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home, Inc. in Hope.
