Dwayne Alan DanielBrazzel/Cornish Funeral HomePublished Wednesday, June 13, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Dwayne Alan Daniel, 45, of Prescott, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001 in Nevada County. He was born November 25, 1955, in Magnolia to E.H. and Kathryn Wood Daniel. He received a masters degree from Tulsa University, was a claims representative for Social Security and an Elder and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prescott. Survivors include his mother, Kathryn W. Daniel of Prescott; three brothers, Duncan H. Daniel of Laneburg, Dale E. Daniel and wife, Dot, of Prescott and O.D. Daniel of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Kathryn E. Hopkins and husband, John, of Prescott and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Friday, June 8, at Laneburg Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Robin Nygaard officiating. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 223 E. Elm in Prescott; the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation or a charity of your choice.
