Herring, May Nuptials Are PlannedPublished Wednesday, May 30, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneLaurie Lynn Herring of Willisville and Cristopher Keith May of Stamps with to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The bride-elect is the daughter of Terry Jarvis of Willisville and Dickey Herring of Emerson. She is the granddaughter of the late O.B. Camp and Joyce Camp Murphy of Willisville and Bobbie Herring and the late George Willis Herring of Stephens. Laurie is a 1997 graduate of Nevada High School. On May 18 she graduated summa cum laude from Southern Arkansas University with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey May of Stamps. He is the grandson of Owen and Helen May and the late Ruby May of Stamps and Lindell and Betra Campbell of Delight and the late Joseph Greene of Patmos. Cris is a 1991 graduate of Stamps High School and a 1995 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a degree in agriculture-business. In December he graduated summa cum laude from Harding University School of Biblical Studies with a bachelor of theology. The wedding will be an event of June 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stamps Church of Christ. A reception will follow in the fellowship room.
