Mrs. Mixon is a retired school teacher. She was showered with many gifts. Under the leadership of pastor J.C. Owens Pleasant Grove Baptist Church has completed the renovation of the fellowship hall. next on the agenda is renovation of the sanctuary. God is really blessing Pleasant Grove. Pleasant Grove will celebrate their senior citizens with a program Sunday, June 3, at 2:00 p.m. Guest minister and church will be Rev. Lesley Banks and Bethel AME Church of Rosston. There will be a random program at Pleasant Grove Saturday, June 9. Charles Blakely and Mary Sockwell were wed Saturday, May 26. Lawrence Larry' Crayton's sister passed away in Chidester. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00. Patsy Hardamon, the daughter of Lummie and Cherry Lee Hardamon of Dallas, Texas, passed away also. Funeral will be Friday, at 11:00.
