HORNE FUNERAL HOME of GURDON

Lamont Stephens, 82, of Gurdon died Wednesday, May 23, 2001.

Mr. Stephens worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, was a member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon and he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Stephens of Gurdon; one son, Sterling Stephens of Gurdon; two daughters, Regina Collins of Gurdon and Cynthia Dixon of Dierks; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, May 25, in Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Sheets officiating. Burial was in Easley Cemetery under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
