Zion Baptist Church family of Gurdon will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Quintin Radford, and family on the fourth pastoral anniversary Sunday, June 3, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests for the service include Rev. A.T. Jordan and Evergreen Baptist Church family of Nashville, Texas. The annual willing workers program will be Sunday, June 24, at 2:30 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Guest speaker will be Sis. Marilyn Gatlin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Gatlin. Sis. Mattie Beasley is president and Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. Mrs. Sharon Hubbard-Lasker of Gurdon will undergo transplant surgery on Wednesday (today), May 30, at 10:00 a.m. at the Baylor Transplant Center in Dallas, Texas. She's asking for prayers of the community. Bro. Connie Williams is in Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia at this report and is reported to be doing better.
