Brown, Medlin To Wed June 30

Danny and Andra Brown of Monticello announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Bryan A. Brown, of Monticello to Carrie M. Medlin of Monticello, formerly of Claremont, N.C.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Roberts of Gurdon and Christine Brown Wesson of Prescott and the late Odis Brown.

He is a graduate of Monticello High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

He is currently employed by Tradewinds Construction Company in Star City.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Christy Bumgardner of Claremont, N.C., and Mike Medlin of Conover, N.C.

She is the granddaughter of Bobby and Joan Medlin of Conover, N.C., and Mable Butler of Claremont, N.C., and the late Bill Butler.

She is a graduate of Bunker Hill High School in Claremont, N.C., and attended Catowba Valley Community College for Nursing. She is currently employed by Monticello Medical Clinic.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Rose Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Monticello with the Rev. Buddy Lemons officiating the ceremony.

Only out-of-town invitations will be sent, all local friends and family are invited to attend.
