The ladies from his Sunday S school class carried food to them on Saturday. Please continue to pray for him and Mona as he still has a long way to go. Tommie Lew Jarvis left today for Houston as. She is not doing well, but has an appointment with her doctor there. She needs our prayers. Brad Hart of McAllen, Texas, has spent the week with his brother Jimmy and his wife of Camden and other relatives. Brad, Jimmy and Delois Hart, Johnnie and Betty Fairchild all of Camden, Elsie Williams, Sue Hart and I attended the homecoming singing at Bluff Springs Sunday. We enjoyed hearing the Langston sisters, Russ Carlton and Anita Allen sing. Roscoe and I attended the graduation exercise at SAU Friday night. Our granddaughter, Tori Rocole, graduated. Congratulations to her. Jimmy had supper with us at Backyard Bar-B-Q in Magnolia. Jeff Taylor was home this weekend from Oklahoma where he has been working. Our niece, Erin Hart, graduated from nurses school on Saturday night at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. She is the daughter of Larry and Brenda Hart of Hope. Congratulations to her also! Sue Dixon and Dot Broussard attended the singing at the Blossom Festival in Magnolia on Thursday night. Hazel Cole of Arlington, Texas, celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a reception given by her children at Bellview Baptist Church. She is a sister to Ford Thompson and the former Wima Martin. She was born in Rosston in 1911. Her children are Ed and Gail Cole of Houston, Jeff and Mary Rawls of Midland, Texas, Elton Cole of Midland, James and Diane Cole of Abilene, Texas, Donnie and Belinda Cole of Arlington, Texas. About 120 friends and family attended. She had 6 children, 16 grand children and 24 great grandchildren. Roscoe and I went to Texarkana Saturday and had supper at the Texas Roadhouse with my nephew George and his wife Sherry Schmitt of Emmet. Our pastor's wife had a birthday Monday and Roscoe and I are having a fish supper for her and Bro. Mark. She will be 29 years old.
