The weather has been really nice. All the gardens are looking good. It looks as it some are about ready to start picking. We did get a few radishes the other day.

Tom Cornelius and David Hendrix had birthdays last week.

Shawntell Pokorny was honored with a baby shower Sunday, May 20, at the home of Gaylon and Alice Head. Shawntell is the daughter of Hilton (Dickie) Treas and the late JoAnn Avery Treas. Hostesses were Irene Head and Carolyn Hill. Guests were Lenora McWilliams, Margie Johnson, Geraldine Greenwood, Vera and Shauna Austin, Mr. and Dr. Elda McCorney, Sam Hill, Deanna Matthews, Veronica Mauldin, Tiffany and Chris Barr, Ursey Treas, Carolyn Palmer, Glenda Stuart, JoAnn Morrow and Chris Hill. Gifts were also received by mail from Julian Stockton, Gail Oswald, Helen Jones, Billy Haynie, Linda Avery, Carolyn Head and Tammy Hodges.

Aaron Morton and I spent Sunday with my parents, J.W. and Maxine Glass. There was a house full with my sisters and their families. Like every Sunday we had enough food to feed an army. After lunch some enjoyed bike riding and some just enjoyed sitting outside and visiting.

Saturday evening David and Kay Hendrix had a yard full of folks for the annual third Sunday in May get together. We counted about 45 people. There could have been more. The fellowship was great and so was the food.

Aaron Morton and I joined Maxine Glass, Pat, Tim and Leah McCullough, Marcia Rhodes, Deb and Cody Jackson and Hannah Cleveland at Hillcrest for the fun day festival. We had a dessert walk with cookies, brownies and cupcakes. The patients had a wonderful time and so did we.

Sorry to hear about the loss of one of our residents at Pleasant Hill. Eva Jones passed away last Wednesday. Funeral services were Saturday. Remember this family in your prayers.

Mary and Barham Ridgell from Little Rock and Louise and David Walker from De Queen visited with Thomas and Ruby Fontaine. They also went to the homecoming at Missionary Grove.

Alice Head is scheduled for surgery Tuesday at Baptist Medical Center. Keep her in your prayers.

Kati, Colen and Grayson Morrow spent Monday with their grandparents, Larry and Jayne Morrow.

Chris, Tracy and Abby Morrow are living in San Diego, Calif., where Chris is stationed. Hello, ya'll. I know you will be reading this on the Internet.

Sunday was the third Sunday in May homecoming at Missionary Grove. Bro. Dexter Blevins from Norman, Okla., was the evangelist. Dinner and evening singing was enjoyed by many.

Congratulations to all the graduates.
