Dean KimmelBRAZZEL / OAKCREST FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, May 23, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Dean Kimmel, 57, of McCaskill died Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at Little River Memorial Hospital in Ashdown. Mr. Kimmel was born August 10, 1943, in Lodi, Calif., to Dexter and Earline Gibson Kimmel. He was a self-employed tree trimmer and former shrimper. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. Mr. Kimmel was preceded in death by his father, Dexter Kimmel, who passed away in 1982. Survivors include one son, Jason Daniel Kimmel of Wyoming; and his mother, Earline Gibson Kimmel of McCaskill. Funeral services were held Monday, May 21, at Friendship United Methodist Church in McCaskill with Rev. Buddy Coleman officiating.
