School Menus: May 28-June 1Published Wednesday, May 23, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of May 29-June 1 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. They are also subject to change. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Memorial Day. TUESDAY: Pop-Tart, toast and juice. WEDNESDAY: Pancakes with syrup and juice. THURSDAY: Cheese toast and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Memorial Day. TUESDAY: Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, apricots and roll; MMS: salad bar; PHS: pizza bar. WEDNESDAY: Cheese pizza, garden salad with dressing, grapes and marshmallow rice squares; MMS: potato bar; PHS: hamburger and fries bar. THURSDAY: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrot sticks, fruit yogurt and apple wedges; MMS: hamburger bar. FRIDAY: Ham and cheese sandwiches, sandwich salad cup, pretzels, apple wedges and caramel topping. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Memorial Day. TUESDAY: French toast stick with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast, ham and juice. THURSDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice. LUNCH MONDAY: Memorial Day. TUESDAY: Corn dog with mustard, green beans, dill spears, peanut cup, chilled peaches and cookie. WEDNESDAY: Chicken and dumplings, dried pinto beans, biscuit with butter and jelly, cinnamon roll and applesauce. THURSDAY: Peanut butter sandwich, macaroni and cheese, carrots and juice bar.
