National Day Of Prayer Thursday, May 6Published Wednesday, April 28, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneNational Day of Prayer will be Thursday, May 6, in the First Baptist Church gym at 7:00 p.m. This year will be the 48th annual Day of Pray. It will be the second for Nevada County. The theme this year will be Light the Nation with Pray. National Day of Prayer is vitally important right now in light of the Colorado shootings, according to Beth Ward, coordinator for the day. This is an interfaith function.
