PHS Graduation Is Friday; Top Students Are NamedPublished Wednesday, May 16, 2001 in the Nevada County PicayuneGraduation ceremonies at Prescott High School will be held Friday night at 7:00 at the football field, weather permitting. If there is rain the commencement exercises will be to the auditorium. Each of the 75 seniors will have five tickets for relatives if it has to be held in the auditorium. There are 14 students graduating with honors, six of them will be recognized as highest honors. Students graduating with highest honors include Josh Bullock, Ralph Marlow, Angela McGough, Jessica Hunt, Britnie McCauley and Tiffany Young. Honor seniors include Rolanda Bullock, Chad Martin, Leslie Russell, Daryl Tidwell, April Campbell, Amanda Phillips, Marie Smallwood and Joey Wyman. Josh Bullock is the son of Leslie and Debbie Bullock. He is a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCS), National Honor Society (NHS), SADD, Art Club, Spanish Club, Science Club, Quiz Bowl amd Student Council. Bullock was also involved in the baseball, football, tennis and track teams. He was chosen as a PHS Ideal, Star Student and DAR Good Citizen his senior year. Ralph Marlow is the 18-year-old son of Sam Marlow and Jack and Gail Scott. He has been involved in the Science Club, FBLA, Future Farmers of America (FFA), NHS, Quiz Bowl and Student Council. Marlow was also a member of the football, basketball, track and baseball teams. He was selected as a Star Student his senior year. Angela McGough is the 18-year-old daughter of Rick and Debra McGough. She has been involved in the Art Club, Key Club, FBLA, NHS and Wolf Trail. Jessica Hunt is the 17-year-old daughter of Donald and Helen Hunt. She is a member of the Art Club, Key Club, FBLA, Future Teachers of America (FTA), NHS, Quiz Bowl and SADD. She has also been involved in the band, where she was a member of the flag line. Britnie McCauley is the 17-year-old daughter of Gary and Charlotte McCauley. She was captain of the cheerleading squad and she was involved in FBLA, and NHS. McCauley was chosen as the 2001 homecoming Queen. Tiffany Young is the 18-year-old daughter of David and Cassaundra Gill. She has been involved in Leo Club, Science Club, FBLA, FCCLA, NHS, OBU Upward Bound, Wolf Trail, Student Council and Boys to Men/Girls to Women. Rolona Bullock is the 17-year-old daughter of Roland Bullock. She has been involved in the Science Club, FCCLA, Choral Club and the Upward Bound program. Chad Martin is the 18-year-old son of Jerry and Karen Martin. He has been involved in Wolf Trail and Choral Club. Leslie Russell is the 18-year-old daughter of Tony and Mary Russell. She has been involved in Key Club, FBLA, NHS, Wolf Trail and SADD. She is also a member of the band. Daryl Tidwell is the 17-year-old son of Daryl Tidwell and Melissa Tidwell. He has been involved in FBLA, NHS, OBU Talent Search, Choral Club, FCS and Boys State. He is also a member of the band. April Campbell is the 17-year-old granddaughter of the late Charles Campbell and Adell Campbell. She has been involved in Art Club, Key Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, FBLA, NHS and Student Council. She is also a member of the Quiz Bowl team. Amanda Phillips is the 18-year-old daughter of Mike and Tammy Phillips. She has been involved in Key Club, Science Club, FBLA, FCCLA and FCS. She is also involved in the band and Boys to Men/Girls to Women. Marie Smallwood is the 17-year-old daughter of Robert and Joann Smallwood. She has been involved in Key Club, Science Club, FBLA, FCCLA, NHS, SADD and Student Council. She is a member of the band and captain of the flag line. Joey Wyman is the 18-year-old son of Herb Wyman and Teri Matthews. He has been involved in Art Club, Key Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, FBLA, FFA and NHS.
