Lucille Flemons Williams, 69, of Gurdon died Monday, May 7, 2001, at her home.

Mrs. Williams was born November 14, 1931, in Nevada County to Leonard and Fannie Mae McDaniels Flemons. She was a retired inspection supervisor with the Riveria Hotel and a former certified child care provider. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kemp in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Survivors include her sister, Lois Christopher of Gurdon; an aunt, Emme Hopson of Prescott; an uncle, Roy Flemon of California; three nieces, Bonnie Cooper and Teresa Muldrow of Gurdon and Michele Christopher of Camden; a nephew, Tim Christopher of Gardena, Calif.; and six great nieces and three great nephews and a host of cousins, friends and God-children.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 14, at Mt. Caney Baptist Church in Gurdon with Johnny Harris officiating. Burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
