Caney NewsBY RUBY WICKERPublished Wednesday, May 9, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Steve Wicker, who now lives in Florida, arrived home Friday to spend a few days with his mother, Wanda, and sister, Evelyn. Sam and Jane Bradshaw, Don and Peggy Fain of Camden, Safrona Stokes and David Martin of Mountain Home visited Junior and Ann Loe Saturday. Bro. Junior and Ann Loe attended the funeral service for Pete Avery. We were glad Frank and Merlene Glass were in church Sunday. Frank recently had surgery. Bro. Alan Nolte from Taylor was guest speaker at Morris Baptist Sunday evening. Morris Baptist Church is sponsoring a baseball team again this year. First game was Monday evening at 6:30 at Hope.
